Service 'StuffCloud'
Description The OwnCloud service is a webservice used to access, sync, and share your personal data. Currently you can:
  • store files (and in-place view/edit of certain extension directly from the web interface)
  • manage your contacts
  • manage your calendars
  • manage tasks (deactivated because broken at the moment)
  • manage bookmarks (for web links) (it should be possible to sync with Firefox in the future)

Security Notes This service is secure but beware when sharing your data to other people.

Warning! Remember not to use this service to store illegal or non-free data.

Web Interface

Use this URL in your browser:

https://stuff.milkypond.org/

Then you can setup your contacts, calendars, and store files.

DAV Interface

You can use the DAV interface to sync your data from a desktop application or you mobile device.

  • Files
    • Desktop:
      • use XFCE/Gigolo or GNOME/Nautilus to create a remote drive
      • use the csync utility to synchronize files
    • Mobile Devices:

    • Desktop:
    • Mobile Devices: the Owncloud app should be able to do it in the future, but you may use the CalDAV-Sync app which is to be opensourced, or try aCal (available on F-Droid) which does not use the internal calendar and proved quite slow
